Donald Trump recently lashed out at Fox News after the network released the latest presidential poll results. The network confirmed that the POTUS is falling behind the Democratic candidates.
According to Political Flare, the POTUS obviously doesn’t like the latest poll results, so he dissed the network by saying that their report is fake. However, the latest poll results aren’t fake.
“The poll shows 56 percent of respondents believe Trump will be re-elected, but he was at least seven points behind Joe Biden, Mike Bloomberg and Bernie Sanders, three points behind Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg, and essentially tied with Amy Klobuchar,” the report read.
More specifically, the publication claimed that every other Democrat is ahead of Trump by at least three points, and the leaders are ahead by seven points.
“The polls have likely not absorbed the full news from the virus and Trump’s anemic response to it, full of lies and panic from all directions, blaming Democrats. The polls also likely haven’t absorbed the fact that Trump is going to be in South Carolina tonight, instead of Washington managing the situation with respect to both the virus and the economy. Perhaps that is why he’s so angry, he believes he can’t do anything about either one,” the publication claimed.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that the POTUS lashed out at Fox News. In the past, he also accused them of running fake reports regarding the poll results. The president even suggested for the network to get a competent polling company just because the results weren’t in his favor.
But at that time, the results of the poll were actually quite accurate. Hillary Clinton was up by two to three points going into election day. She also won the popular vote by two points. But after visiting three states, the POTUS managed to rake in 70,000 votes, which placed him on top.
