Founder and CEO Finds Genuine Joy In Helping Others Succeed.
As the founder (and now CEO) of Lyon Global, Thomas Lyon has seen his fair share of ups and downs – both in business and in life. “It hasn’t always been easy running a small business – especially after COVID hit,” says Lyon. Now, after finding success in helping companies of all sizes get more customers using the Internet, Lyon Global is giving back to the communities that need it the most.
Lyon Global is a full-service digital marketing agency that builds websites, creates social media content, handles video production, and even places ads for clients all over the world. Clients include major international brands and small “mom and pop” diners alike. Thomas and his wife Claire lead the organization – which is comprised 100% of remote workers – both in the United States and abroad.
“Having folks in most major time zones across the globe has really helped us to beat the competition when it comes to the amount of work we can get done for clients,” says Claire Cordeta-Lyon, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. Before teaming up for Lyon Global, Claire was a senior packaging designer for Avon Cosmetics in South East Asia before leading the marketing division for Ayala, one of Asia’s most successful real estate empires.
Finding success has allowed the pair to find ways to give back. Over the last several years, Thomas has been invited as a guest speaker for the Wyoming County (NY) Chamber of Commerce and has presented a digital marketing seminar for the Kaufman Fast Trac program, a non-profit program that helps regular people with business ideas bring those ideas to life. Now, thanks to the CARES act, Tom is expanding his sphere of influence, by providing one-on-one mentorship sessions for approved businesses looking for marketing know-how.
“The plan is to open this up nationwide. I really enjoy helping people make their dreams come true. Some of these people turn into some of the best clients, and others go on to do something completely different. Either way, I get the biggest reward out of it – knowing that I’ve helped them, even if just a little bit. For that, I’m grateful,” said Thomas.
Right now, the company is giving away a free website. Entries can be submitted at www.LyonGlobal.com.
